About Me

Hi there! I'm Maria Kelly. I'm a Philly-based Software Engineering Manager and Senior Full Stack Developer. I'm currently a Web Development Manager for HubSpot's Digital Experience Web Development team. Before that, I was the Manager of Web & Application Development Services and Lead Developer for a small, talented team of developers and designers at the University of Pennsylvania.

Over the course of my career, I've worn many hats. I've simultaneously juggled day-to-day programming responsibilities with managing team priorities and objectives, providing high-level strategic direction, and defining technology strategy and vision. I've developed and mentored a cross-functional team through 1:1 coaching, providing performance feedback, and identifying opportunities for professional growth. I have a deep passion for work done well and a knack for helping things run smoothly, so I also have work closely with our project managers and senior leadership on strategies to enhance the operational efficiency of teams.

Outside of my current role, I work with two former colleagues building web apps and sites for small businesses and academic institutions as 3 Spicy Veggies.
